Dispute Resolution and Privacy Seals
We have the following privacy seals and/or dispute resolution mechanisms.
If you are concerned about any aspect of our privacy policy, please contact us

'[MacWizards]' in the subject line of all email, to ensure your email is not lost or delayed
due to spam filters.
Please include any information you have about the problem, we will investigate
the situation, correct any problems we find, and respond to you within 5
business days. Additional Information
This policy is subject to change, however we will report any changes here 30 days
prior to their implementation.
Data Collection
We collect three kinds of information through our website.
Access Logs
Our website, like almost every other site on the web,
produces an access log. This access log captures click-stream data and
http protocol elements. We reserve the right to use this data for
supporting user activity on our website (example, to deliver the pages you
request), also for website & system administration and for research &
development (example, finding out if a web page is broken). This data
may be used by ourselves and our agents. Cookies (optional)
Our website uses http cookies. Cookies are defined
below, but basically these are small files in which we place a large random
number. The cookies are used to tailor our website to your requests.
Example, when you ask us to add a product to your shopping cart, we create a
cart on our back end servers, put your product in it, and label it with the
number in your cookie. When you then ask to see the cart on the next
page, we can find your cart by your cookie and show you the contents.
While our site does not require you to turn on cookies, if you turn cookies
off in your web browser many features (example, our entire online store)
won't work properly.
Transaction Info (optional)
At the user's option, we will collect the following data:
physical contact information (example, the address you want a package
delivered to), online contact information (example, the email address you
want a confirmation email sent to), demographic data (example, how many
orders we receive from California), purchase information (example, what
product you want us to mail to you). Providing this information is
completely optional, however we will not be able to process your order
without it. We will share this information with our agents and
delivery services (example, UPS). We collect this information to process
your order and support our customers.
Cookies
What is a cookie? Cookies are a technology which can be used to provide you with tailored information from a Web site. A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it.
Shipping Policies
Orders shipped by an expedited method are generally shipped out
the same business day as ordered, if ordered before 3pm PST and if all items are in stock
(orders received outside business hours are usually processed the following
business day). Orders shipped by
ground delivery are generally shipped either the same or next business day
(unless items are back ordered or are pre-order items). If items are not
in stock, we will notify you and hold the order until we can send the complete
order as one shipment.
Please check the individual product page for each item to find out if it's
currently in stock (it's rare for us not to have a product in stock).
Cost of shipping is based on what UPS or FedEx charges us. The
average cost of shipping one product by UPS ground was approximately $6 in 2007.
Your shipping charges may be more or less depending on your location,
fluctuations in fuel prices, shipping rates, and what products you order. By starting the
"checkout" procedure on our store you can get an exact quote for shipping
(starting the process does not commit you to making a purchase).
We cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date, but if delivery of your order
is time sensitive we encourage you to make a comment to that effect in the notes section of
your order. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
We ship only by trackable methods (usually UPS, DHL or FedEx). MacWizards
does not ship by USPS because shipments are not reliably trackable by this carrier. We
cannot ship to U.S. postal boxes, armed forces postal boxes, or any address which
does not accept shipment by our carriers.
While we ship primarily by UPS we reserve the right to use another carrier with
comparable, trackable service for your shipment (example, we may choose to
substitute FedEx for overnight shipments to some areas and we generally use
DHL for international shipments).
Packages unable to be delivered because of customer errors in addressing, no response from a
recipient after multiple delivery attempts or refused by the recipient will be returned
to MacWizards by our carrier. A $10 return shipping fee is charged by our carriers
for this service and will be deducted from any refund processed on a returned package.
You will be emailed a tracking identifier for your shipment
when we ship your order. You can determine the carriers estimated delivery
date by visiting their website (URL will be included in the email with your
tracking number) and entering the tracking identifier.
MacWizards is a U.S. company, our primary focus does not involve shipping outside of
the United States. We will ship to Canada and some other countries, however we cannot
predict what duties or other import fees may be assigned by these governments. Payment
of these fees will be the recipient's responsibility.
We ship within the U.S. five days a week (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).
International retail orders are shipped out only Wednesday and Friday. Our online store
does not offer Saturday delivery as a shipping option. If you require Saturday delivery
please call our customer service group to make special arrangements.
Canceling Orders
Orders placed through the MacWizards.com Store
are often shipped out within minutes or hours of being placed. MacWizards operates two facilities and our shipping process is largely automated. Please be sure of your order before submitting it. If you find you no longer need a product ordered through our online store and would like MacWizards to attempt to cancel your order: call
MacWizards customer support immediately. As a courtesy, we will attempt to cancel the order. If you are calling after hours please leave a message and call back during office hours. Please do not rely on email to cancel orders, as email messages can be delayed and may not be received before your order ships. After an order has left our primary facility we are unable to process an order cancelation.
Return Policies
Retail customers of the MacWizards.com Store may return
purchases to us within 15 days of receiving them for a refund of the purchase
price, less a 15% restocking fee.
Product must be returned in sale-able
condition and shipped by a trackable method. Customers must contact MacWizards at
store@macwizards.com
to receive a RMA number prior to shipping the product to MacWizards (please be sure to include
'[MacWizards]' in the subject line of all email, to ensure your email is not lost or delayed
due to spam filters). Let us know the reason for the return and your order number. Packages
shipped to MacWizards without an RMA number cannot be processed and will be refused. Shipping
charges cannot be refunded. Allow 2-4 weeks for your refund check to be mailed.

Limited Warranty
MacWizards will repair or replace MacWizards branded product sold through the
MacWizards Store that fails to function under normal use for one
year after the date of purchase. Our liability is limited to repair or
replacement of the product purchased. To receive warranty support the customer
must contact us at

and receive a RMA number prior to shipping the unit back to MacWizards (please be sure to include
'[MacWizards]' in the subject line of all email, to ensure your email is not lost or delayed
due to spam filters).
The unit must be shipped to MacWizards by a
trackable method. We will ship the replacement unit to customers within the
continental United States. Allow 2-4 weeks for your RMA to be processed.
In the event that the original model is not available, MacWizards reserves
the right to substitute a functionally similar model. MacWizards reserves the
right, at it's sole discretion, to refund a fair market price
instead of repairing or replacing a returned unit.

Our office hours are 8:30am PST to 4:30pm PST on Monday through Friday
(excluding holidays).
MacWizards reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. |
